The baselines on this page are a modeled reference, not a measured dataset: they are engineering estimates of typical drift, circularity error, and lifespan by sensor family, published as a dated snapshot (2026-08-02). We do not claim these figures come from a large test population — no fabricated sample counts appear anywhere on this site.

Community telemetry makes the numbers real over time: when you opt in to the consent prompt on a diagnostic tool, only your anonymized hardware model and measurement values sync to the public count. Your Controller Passport history and local logs (ct_telemetry_log) stay in your browser.
