DualSense Edge features lower input latency at approximately ~2.5 ms (~1000 Hz wired / ~250 Hz BT polling rate) compared to Xbox Elite Series 2 at ~5.2 ms (~250 Hz BT / ~1000 Hz wired polling rate).
Both premium controllers keep potentiometer sticks but address drift differently: the DualSense Edge ships with replaceable stick modules you can swap without opening the shell, while the Xbox Elite Series 2 offers adjustable stick tension to tune resistance. Neither uses Hall-effect magnetic sensors, so stick drift remains a long-term failure mode for both.
