How to Fix PS5 DualSense Edge Stick Drift
The Edge is the easiest controller to repair: Sony designed it with user-swappable stick modules. Drift = swap the module, no tools, no soldering.
Step 1: Measure the exact drift

Step 2: Swap the stick module
Release the module latch on the underside, slide out the drifting module, and press in a new one (official modules approx. $19.99, third-party less). No tools needed.
Step 3: Adjust in-game deadzones
While you wait for a replacement module, set an in-game deadzone covering the drift.
Step 4: Re-test the fix
Re-run the Stick Drift Detector. A fresh module reads 0.0% at rest. Confirm both sticks and the Fn lever still register.
